Oh goodness, another week gone by. I think Ive said that every week to date, and it never fails to hit me how FAST it all goes! Very ridiculous. We are officially starting the last week of the change! This means email next week wont be until Wednesday, just so you remember :)
This week was a nice little adventure. Pday we just stayed home and went to a little restaurant out on the lake, and then Wednesday we made the trip out to Patzicia for zone conference the next day. We got there at about 3, had lunch, and then my companion wanted to go see his old area so we went walking out there. It was fun to see his old friends and converts, and Patzun is right next to Patzicia so I even got to see some people from Patzun visiting for the day. It was way cool :)
Thursday was zone conference, awesome as ever. This was an especially exciting/anxious one, because so many friends are leaving this change, AND they are opening up the new mission (we get the phone call Wednesday!) so it was the last time many of us would see each other for a long time. Im crossing my fingers that none of my close friends leave, but in any case, its exciting that theyre opening a new mission, and we go where the Lord wants us to go :)
I think you asked in the email, and I actually DO know how I got sick! Haha. The day before we had taken a ride in the back of a truck all the way from Godinez to Santiago (1.5 hrs), and we rode in a cloud the whole way. Seriously there was dew on my jacket after. It was so cold! So I think thats where the fever came from :/
Also! I know this is the email you never hoped to get...but I officially need new shoes ;( Haha.
