Catchy Kell

We told Tyler about the snowstorm and how it was the second big storm in a month.

Again?!?! I cant believe it! Haha wow though, I guess that will be a nice break right after exams. :) I am way jealous! Sounds like everything is going good though, hope everyone is keeping warm and enjoying the days off.
Everything continues to go well in Patzun! I cant believe it, this is already the last week in the change! (Before I forget, that means I wont be writing next week until Wednesday, just to keep you posted!) Our district is really anxious to see what happens this change. District Tecpan is an anomaly because it is so BIG! There are ten of us, and we are actually very far away from the rest of Solola, (technically we are closer to the Chimaltenango zone). We also have 4 hermanas which is really uncommon. But its been WAY fun. Im hoping the next change will be just as good :) By the way, I dont think I ever asked, but have you guys looked at a map yet? I really have no clue where Patzun is, its kinda funny :) I think we are northwest of the capital though, just by a few miles. The rest of the zone is farther out, up towards the top. There is an area in Solola called Joiova, and it takes SIX hours to get there by bus! Crazy far!
This week flew by as ever! We had zone conference on Thursday, and it was AWESOME. I really wish you could meet President and Sister Baldwin, they are so great. This conference was all about the influence of the Spirit, something Ive been learning about in spades ever since Day 1. It was really great and we learned a lot. And I gave a talk! That was pretty scary :) But I think it went pretty well. Our district also did a musical number, I played piano and they all sang I Need Thee Every Hour, one verse in English, Spanish, and Kaqchikel. It was way cool :) (By the way I think I wrote this in the lost email from two weeks ago--Kaqchikel is pronounced Kack--Cheek--Ell. It sounds like Catchy--Kell when you say it fast). We also got mail! The Johnsons sent me a memory card! Be sure to tell them thanks for me, and it looks like they sent it forEVER ago, so Im not really sure why it took so long. Noah wrote the funniest letter, Ill have to send you a copy :)
This week the new temple president and his wife (Pres and Sis Mask) also came to visit our ward in Patzun! They spoke in Sacrament, and it was way cool. They both served here back in the 60s.
Anyways hope everything is going well back home. I dont know if it is for you, but time is FLYING by here for me! Its hard to believe that at the end of this coming change, I will have 6 months in the field! Way crazy.
Antigua was AMAZING! Ahh you would love it. We get to go to places like this just every P-Day, its way fun. Tomorrow I think we are going to PanaJachel again ;) Cant wait! You would love it though, Antigua has this Artisans market and they have the COOLEST stuff. They make these statues out of jade that are way awesome, and they also have really cool paintings and fabrics and chocolate and stuff. Theres also a central park area, lots of cool little restaurants, and TONS of cathedrals. So cool! I think we ll have to go when you guys come to pick me up ;) Be sure to tell Sara goodbye for me! Im so excited for her. Its gonna be such an incredible experience.
So good to hear from you guys as always. Love you tons! Till Wednesday--
Tyler
