Rainy season in Guatemala

Hey family!
I heard about Jenn not going to Tikal due to increased crime. That is too lame. I dont know if you guys have seen pictures of that place, but it is like the coolest thing. Its out of our mission so we can't go, but we should definitely think about a family trip there someday! :D Haha.
Im glad all of that got worked out and Jenn Hayden could carry my family gifts home. It will be so nice with my suitcase going home! I think I am literally going to have nothing with me. That will be the best :)
This week has been good so far! We have the training meetings this week about Simplified Study, so we went yesterday to the coast and today to the mountains. Tomorrow is the cap. Next week we'll be starting interviews (President's last!), and we'll get to visit each of the zones that way, so we're excited! And we'll also be starting divisions with the elders there, so that'll be awesome. Its all very weird that things are winding down in President's time here. I'm excited to meet the Broughs and everything, but it will definitely be hard to see the Baldwins leave.
Rainy season has hit! Its thundering right now as we speak. The rainstorms in the capital are beautiful, and its definitely one of the coolest things being in the top office floors in the middle of a thunderstorm. I haven't yet gotten rained on in proselyting time (fingers crossed) but Im sure I wont be able to say that anymore after a while. In the capital the rain isnt as incessant, but in the coast it rains almost all day every day, and the elders love it because it is so hot. Im stoked for divisions in the coast! :D
Anywho, miss you all more than ever. Hope school ends off well! Hang in there, we're getting close. :) Live it up at the pool!
Till the next,
Tyler
